The FIRST 3D printer for steel developed for mechanical production

Why is it specialized for steel?

Entire parts of the machine are built especially for the management and processing of steel powders because this material, in all its forms, is without doubt the most commonly used as well as being the most versatile, the most economical and most easily available on the market.

3D4STEEL is the first specialized system of 3D printing for non-reactive steel powders completely personalized for the production needs of each customer, which guarantees maximum ease and practicality for industrial production, and, at the same time ensures complete safety for operators.

You will free yourself completely from the costs of storage and provisioning, producing only when there is a need.

Why is it crafted for mechanical production?

Thanks to the patent for the distribution system of powders created especially for steel, the 3D4STEEL printer reaches a GREATER production cycle speed compared to that obtained with multiple-material systems.

This processing speed allows you to produce medium to small lots with a great saving compared to traditional methods in terms of cost of material, tooling costs, production times, provisioning times and time to market

Produce faster thanks to the system specialized for steel

Produce On-Demand only when you need your components without having to use storage.

Save on costs of running and of provisioning of gas and material.

Easily create complex shapes which you could never obtain with traditional production methods

Choose your supplier of steel powders independently and save up to 78% on each purchase

Quoting Wohlers Report, the producers of 3D standard printers impose strong restrictions on the use of powders by third parties and insist that the customer gets supplies directly from them

“There are many companies which supply materials for the additive industry (3D printing)

Some of these companies sell their powders directly to the manufacturers of 3D printers who subsequently sell them to their customers under their own brand name […]

For many manufacturers of 3D printers the sale of powders is an important recurring income […]

They (the manufacturers of 3D printers) often resort to physical, electronic or software blocks to stop the use of ‘unauthorized materials’ by third parties.”

With 3D4STEEL you will have THE COMPLETE FREEDOM in the printing parametrs management

OPEN POWDER

allows you to freely choose the powder supplier you want, and gives you the chance to get your powder supplies directly from your preferred supplier without any intermediary step, which would involve an unjustifiable increase in the price.

You will be guaranteed a saving of up to 78% on the cost of the steel powders and you will have the chance to freely choose among OVER 150 TYPES of steel powder.

To help you in the choice of the most suitable material for your needs, we will provide all the recommended printing parameters for each type of powder tested, so that you can start producing the components you want IMMEDIATELY AND WITHOUT DIFFICULTY.

Save up to 46% on the costs of provisioning ande protect the health of your operators by using ONLY NITOROGEN

To print metal powders in 3D, the printing room where the powders are sinterized/fused must have a modified atmosphere.

Moreover, to print any reactive material (such as Titanium and Aluminum)  and avoid any risk of explosion, the printing room must be filled with an inert gas, and in this case, we are forced to use Argon.

Argon (Ar) is a colourless, inodorous gas, heavier than asphyxiating air, used in various working activities. Because of its specific weight, it becomes very difficult to manage this gas and could put the health of anyone who deals with it at serious risk.

On the other hand, to print using steel and, in general, non-reactive materials, the printing room can be filled with nitrogen..

Nigtrogen (N) is a noble gas, easily extractable from the air using a specific generator (provided together with the 3D4STEEL printer), with a specific weight inferior to oxygen and therefore less dangerous for man.

If your company, already has an installation for the distribution of nitrogen, you can connect the 3D4STEEL printer directly to your installation, making your production even more economical.

The use of NITROGEN guarantees:

Minor risks for the operators

Maximum specialization in the use of steel and in general all non-reactive powders.

Costs of provisionins and operation halved.

Automatically recycle the unused powder thanks to an
 exclusive patent 3D4STEEL

The treatment and management of metal powders is a crucial aspect of 3D printing.

When a 3D printing cycle in SLM comes to an end, you not only have a printed component but the printing plate is full of unused powder which has to be filtered and sifted to be re-used.

Usually this procedure of recycling powders involves the use of an imposing machine external to the 3D printer and, sometimes, the collection of non-sinterized powder is even done by hand.

Moving the printing plate from one machine to another greatly extends the time necessary to have a finished component and means more risks for the operator and high production costs.

To speed up the production process we have patented a system of recycling powders which is completely automatized and internal in each 3D4STEEL printer.

Our POWDER RECYCLING system allows you to automatically recover up to 99% of the steel powder which you have not used up during the printing process; the powder passes automatically into a filter which sifts it to eliminate any trace of impurities, subsequently it is automatically re-introduced into the tank as if it were new unused powder, immediately ready for use.

BEWARE!

3D4STEEL IS NOT ALWAYS THE IDEAL SOLUTION..

For this reason, working in close contact with the customer, we carry out an in depth analysis on each company, which enables us to understand immediately how we can help to optimize the production process with the 3D4STEEL printer.

This analysis is called the 3D4YOU course.

Should the result of this analysis be unsatisfactory, we will be the first to suggest the most suitable solution and we will give back, to the last cent, the money you have spent.

There are, however, some conditions which could help you to  understand immediately if our solution is ideal for you.

Allow me to say clearly that 3D4STEEL 3D4STEEL  is NOT SUITABLE for you IF:

  • You want to produce components in Aluminum, Titanium or any other so-called “reactive” material.
  • The geometrics of your components are too simple and to produce them using ANY 3D printer would be be much more expensive  than to produce them with traditional technologies.
  • You are looking for an economical alternative which allows you to “see if it is a technology which could work”.

Let’s be clear: it is useless to waste time if you are simply looking for an economical 3D printer because you are curious to see how it works and you are not interested in adopting a production method made to measure for you.

  • You want to adopt a standard rather than a customized solution.
  • You prefer a 3D printer which allows you to move freely among different materials and which makes you spend much more in tooling and storage because it is not specialized in the use of the material which you need most.
  • You want a machine restricted to a few powders which forces you to pay them 3 times as much.

If your needs are ARE NOT REFLECTED in the last points you have just read, then probably we could be able to work together.

So, I invite you to click on the button below. One of our experts will contact you in a few hours, free of charge and without any obligations.
